Santa and Mrs. Santa, along with Mrs. Pam Felegi, came up with a SANTASTIC idea in 2008, in which they teamed up and received help with Santa's 58-year project of personally answering letters to Santa from children.  After meeting with a group of students from the Gifted Program at Hempfield High School, Santa found them to be excited to help him with this very worthy cause. 

During this season of letter-writing, Santa and Mrs. Santa went to their classroom several days a week and some of the students volunteered to come to their residence after school.

It was obvious that not only were they capable of taking dictation, but they were thrilled to hear how personal and individualized the answers were.  Mrs. Felegi and all the student volunteers working with Santa were absolutely true Santa "Brownie helpers" and did their jobs in the real spirit of giving.
